Age Requirements

  • Tattoos

    Any Person who is 18 years or older may bring proper identification and is able to consent for themselves.

    Under 18:

    If an the individual is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian will need to be present. Please understand that we will need to verify that information.

    We do NOT preform tattoos on any individual under the age of 15

    Below are the examples of proper identification that both parent and child need.

    If child does not have any form of identification listed, we can NOT preform the service, government Identification is needed.

    We will be checking that both parent or Guardian and child’s last names match.

  • Piercings


    Body Piercing Age and Identification Policy

    Clients 18 Years of Age or Older

    Any client who is 18 years of age or older may consent to their own piercing. A valid, government-issued photo ID showing the client’s full name, photograph, and date of birth is required.

    Clients Under 18 Years of Age

    If a client is under the age of 18, their parent or legal guardian must be physically present throughout the appointment and provide consent for the piercing.

    Please understand that we are required to verify the identity of the minor and the relationship between the minor and the accompanying parent or legal guardian.

    Minimum Age Requirements

    Earlobe Piercings

    Clients may receive standard earlobe piercings at any age, subject to the piercer’s professional judgment and the child’s ability to safely cooperate during the procedure.

    Cartilage piercings will not be performed on anyone under 13 years of age.

    Body Piercings

    Clients must be at least 13 years of age to receive an approved body piercing.

    Facial Piercings

    Clients must be at least 15 years of age to receive an approved facial piercing.

    Oral and Intimate Piercings

    Clients must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to consent for themselves. There are no exceptions to this policy.

    Certain piercings may have additional age restrictions. All piercing services are subject to the piercer’s professional judgment, anatomy assessment, and safety considerations.

    Identification Requirements for Minors

    The parent or legal guardian must provide a valid, government-issued photo ID.

    The minor must provide one of the following forms of identification:

    • A valid government-issued photo ID (passport, learners permit, driver’s license,

    • A school-issued photo ID alongside a birth certificate

    The primary information we will check on the adult’s and minor’s identification is whether the last names and addresses match.

    If the last names or addresses do not match, the parent or legal guardian must provide one of the following:

    • The minor’s original or certified birth certificate showing the parent’s name

    • Official court-issued guardianship documents

    • Other legal documentation establishing the adult’s authority to provide consent

    A different last name or address does not automatically prevent the piercing from being performed, but additional documentation will be required to verify the relationship between the minor and the accompanying parent or legal guardian.

    The names and information on all documents must be consistent and must allow us to verify the identities of everyone involved and the adult’s legal authority to provide consent.

    Photographs, screenshots, photocopies, or expired identification may not be accepted. Please contact the studio before the appointment with any questions regarding acceptable identification or documentation.

  • Any State-issued photo ID: Driver’s License, Learners Permit, Walkers ID, Real ID

  • Passport or Passport card

  • Green card or Visa

(LAST NAME, PHOTO, DOB are the main factors in this request)

Because we will need to copy of your identification submitted with your wavier and consent form, Military Identification is not suggested.
